Since moving back to Connecticut, my life has been centered on a small town, the woods, and the historic 18th century house where I now live. I love the intimate spaces of this house filled with 230 year old beams, wide plank floors, granite stone hearths, many old doors with latches, and a crooked staircase. My artwork lives with these influences as well.

I have recently been making collages on paper, wood panels, and canvases using my old, color printing proofs and acrylic paint to create scenes from my house and invented spaces. These works reflect the curiosity and excitement I feel about living here. To me, living in old, quirky places makes for an endlessly inspiring environment.

After leaving my job of 12 years as the Art Director for Physics Today magazine, I’m working on collages, paintings, prints, and drawings full time!

I have a BFA in printmaking from University of Connecticut, Storrs, CT. I taught printmaking while working as a fine art printer in the New York area & attending graduate school at Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY. I've had work in the Pratt Graphics Print USA show & publication, NY, NY, Loft-7 Art in the Bush show, Brooklyn, NY, the Connecticut Women Artist's show at the Slater Museum, Norwich, CT, Footprint shows at The Center for Contemporary Printmaking, Norwalk, CT, Mashup shows at Pyramid Atlantic Art Center, Hyattsville, MD.
